Our Activity Department offers a wide variety of activities which include: music, gardening, pet therapy, bus outings, parties and games. Our golf cart is often used for scenic rides in town. The outdoor enclosed patio area is a perfect place to enjoy the beauty of southeastern Minnesota. We have large group activities such as bingo, church services, musical entertainment, Bible study and weekly socials. For those with small group interests, we offer crafts, games, current events, reminiscing, senior fitness, or one on one visits from the staff.

Throughout its 50 year history of serving the community, Valley View Healthcare and Rehab has placed a strong emphasis on ensuring that the individual needs of every resident are met. Over the course of 2017, a sampling of Valley View Healthcare and Rehab customers and their families have participated in monthly telephone interviews that include open-ended questions, as well the opportunity to rate Valley View Healthcare and Rehab in specific categories.
Every month, Valley View Healthcare and Rehab has gathered its real-time survey results in order to gain a better understanding of the resident’s needs and make improvements when necessary.
By qualifying for the Pinnacle Customer Experience Award™, Valley View Healthcare and Rehab has satisfied the rigorous demand of scoring in the top 15% of the nation across a 12-month average. Clients have the opportunity to achieve this Best in Class distinction on a monthly basis in many categories designed to accurately reflect each resident’s experience.
